Motion Tweening

September 9th, 2006 by awesty

In this tutorial I will teach you how to motion tween. Motion Tweening is one of the first things you should learn in macromedia flash because you will use it for so many things in the future.

This tutorial is for people who have just picked up flash, so i will be explaining how to do everything as easily as possible. You will learn about the timeline, about some of the tools, about movieclips and of course, how to motion tween.

I am using macromedia flash 8 for this tutorial, but any version for flash should work.

Thank you for taking the time to veiw this tutorial. You can find more tutorials here

[…] In this tutorial you will learn how to make buttons in flash. It would help if you had taken my ‘Motion Tweening’ tutorial already. If you haven’t you can click here. […]

Well that would be a extremly long tutorial, since flash can get complicated. The flash help is over 100 pages long, probably more than 500.
You could probably find a book at your local library or book shop about flash. They can be really helpful.
Also surf the net for tutorials. Maybe join a flash forum so you can talk with other animators/coders about there techniques and stuff that could help.
The only other thing to really do is experiment and try new things.

Thank you so much for a great beginner’s tutorial. I’ve been trying for 2 days to understand motion tweening using different tutorials and you’ve taught me in about 10 mins. It’s all so simple when well explained.

I`m wondering, where can I learn more about actionscripts? And I would really like to start from scratch.
