Newgrounds are now holding two monthly contests.

The first one is for all you animators and game makers. If you submit a animation or game and it gets in the daily top five, it will go in the draw to win $250. The top five game and the top five movies of the month will be chosen by a private panel and each one will get $250.

Each month, a private panel selects the TOP FIVE FLASH GAMES and TOP FIVE FLASH MOVIES on Newgrounds! The nominees are pooled from every daily top five list for the month, as well as submissions featured on the front page during the given month.

Each of the ten winners receives $250 CASH direct from Newgrounds, no strings attached. You don’t have to sign any exclusive deals, your work is still your property. You will need to be 13 years of age or older and will need to provide your address within 30 days of winning, though. If you are under 18, you will need the permission of a parent or guardian. In addition, you will receive an official awards certificate (complete with gold embossed Newgrounds tank seal) and a Newgrounds t-shirt.

The other one is for everyone, whether you can animate/make games or not. All you have to do is sign up at Newgrounds. If you vote on 5 movies/games a day you get to deposit experience points, and the more points you deposits the better the chance you have of winning. Every month they will pick a random member to win $100.

Every month, we pick a random user to win $100 cash! The three easy steps to enter our monthly drawing:

1. Create a Newgrounds user account if you don’t already have one.
2. Log in to your account and create a public profile, if you haven’t already.
3. Vote on five Flash submissions and deposit your experience points to officially enter!

You can deposit your experience points once per day, so the more days you deposit, the greater your chance of winning!

No purchase is necessary to enter this contest. You will need a valid email address to validate your account, however. We recommend using a free email provider such as Yahoo Mail. We do not spam or sell email addresses.

If you are found to have deposited to numerous accounts within the thirty day period, you will be ineligible for the prize. It is ok to deposit for friends while they are on vacation, or to have another family member sharing the same computer. We can tell when someone is setting up numerous accounts for the purpose of improving their odds, or for no good purpose whatsoever.

A winner is chosen on the last day of each month. The winner will be notified via email, at which point they must provide their mailing address within one week to complete the process.

We will attempt to accomodate international winners, but reserve the right to decline a winner based on their location.
